Central and Ashgate Nursery Federation
Hours: 37 hours a week
Contract type: Permanent - 41 weeks per year
Due to the 41 week contract, the successful applicant will be required to work 10 additional days outside of Derby City Council’s School Term Time. This will be negotiable with the Headteacher/Senior School Business Manager.

We are looking to appoint an Office Manager to work in our happy and vibrant federation of schools. We believe that our schools are very special places to work, learn and grow and hope to appoint someone who supports the school with its vision and values. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a very dedicated and talented administration team. Visits are warmly welcomed and will allow you to get a ‘feel’ for what it is like to work within our wonderful schools. The successful candidate will have experience and a skill set, which will enable them to work, highly efficiently, in this busy and diverse role. We are looking for someone who will be proactive in ensuring procedures are adhered to.
This post would ideally suit an experienced administrator looking to take the next step in their career.
We are looking for someone with:
• Excellent levels of numeracy and literacy skills;
• Very high standards of written and spoken English
• Initiative, drive and motivation;
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work strictly to deadlines, including on their own initiative;
• Excellent organisational and planning skills;
• Good understanding of ICT and related systems Arbor, Mipeople, CIA;
• The ability to manage staff;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills and good working knowledge of Council IT systems and procedures;
• Knowledge of child protection procedures;
• The ability to work flexibly;
