Senior Planner
Turner & Townsend is looking for a Senior Planner to join its Infrastructure, Project Controls team in Scotland.
Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Planner to undertake duties within our Scotland-based, Infrastructure, Project Controls team, supporting projects across the energy, defence, rail, airports, highways, water and utilities sectors. The Senior Planner will work as part of our Project Controls team on a high-profile infrastructure project, providing performance reporting and analysis support. This may be part of a large team or as the key day-to-day contact point with the client.
Responsibilities
* Develop work breakdown structures and robust performance baselines with cost and planning engineers.
* Establish progress and cost monitoring methods.
* Produce project control reports and provide performance analysis and recommendations for our clients.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a project controls environment within the infrastructure sector (Energy, Defence, Rail, Airports, Highways, Water / Utilities) required.
* Experience in at least one of programme controls management, earned value (EVM), change & risk management, planning, project controls or PMO.
* Degree educated; previous industry & sector experience essential.
* Experience with Oracle Primavera, MS Project, Excel, PRISM (Cost Management System) required.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Rigorous in following documented processes and governance, innovative in creative solutions.
* Current security clearance ideal for defence sector projects.
