I am working with a client near Swanley in Kent / Greater London who is looking to recruit a friendly and experienced 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Technician / Technical Support for their busy in-house help desk. The role involves supporting all users via remote technologies.
This Support Desk Technician position offers a salary range of £25.5k (including a £3.5k car allowance).
Responsibilities:
* Answering incoming helpdesk enquiries and assisting the 1st Line Support team to resolve customer issues
* Providing in-house support for more complex IT / Network / VOIP issues
* Server configuration and monitoring
* Hands-on work with server and desktop products, networking components such as routers, printers, and bespoke applications
Requirements:
* Previous experience at 2nd Line level is required
* Experience within an MSP environment is preferred but not essential
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2010-2019 & Office 365 Administration
* Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2008 and Exchange (2010, 2013, 2016, 2019)
* Understanding of networking protocols and devices
