GBR Recruitment are proud to be recruiting exclusively for a leading food business, an experienced Supply Chain Manager, to lead the end-to-end supply chain for all inbound & outbound activities. In this key head of supply chain role, you will be responsible for all Imported inbound food products & all outbound food products being distributed to food retail & food wholesale customers UK wide. You will be managing the whole supply chain process from food products supplier sourcing & purchasing, contract negotiations with 3PL suppliers (chilled food storage & hauliers), food product goods receipts, stock analysis & trend analysis, ensuring by accurate forecasting that current stock holding levels meets customer demands to fulfil food product orders OTIF & to the quality required. Strong knowledge & experience within the food manufacturing industry is a must in this key role. This supply chain management role would suit someone with experience in UK & European food operations, someone who has had exposure to both or worked in a European Group would be ideal. This foodie uses SAP software, so someone with SAP experience would be perfect.
