We're looking for a Environmental Services Team Leader who will deliver excellent service and Support the Environmental Services Team ensuring the overall smooth operational running of the estate, by overseeing waste and cleaning operations and delivering a cohesive high-quality environmental services management, obtaining maximum productivity, efficiency, quality, service and upholding all aspects of compliance and quality standards and adhering to budget and required criteria whilst ensuring that the team deliver an excellent customer experience and ensure the highest standards of service.

Role Responsibilities:
1. Support Liverpool ONE's environmental management system, cleaning and waste policy, working as part of a multidisciplinary team and supporting the environmental services leadership in achieving the targets set by the environmental services department.
2. Leading the environmental services team by displaying Liverpool ONE's principles and values, inspiring and motivating the team, performing monthly KIT chats with the team, and identifying development opportunities for the team members, whilst delivering the highest level of standards and customer experience.
3. Supervision of the day and night duties of the environmental services operative team, ensuring suitable manning levels are always maintained, highlighting any issues to the Environmental Assistant Manager and Environmental Services Manager.
4. Supervise and manage the environmental services team schedule, fleet and resources, ensuring inventories are completed and maintenances are up to date.
5. Responsible for the completion of the Service Level Agreements for the Cleaning and Waste Services on a daily, weekly and monthly basis liaising with tenants when necessary to make sure the highest standards are achieved and sustained.
6. Undertake team briefings, engagement activities and ensure all team meal members of the environmental services team perform their duties following the established processes and compliance with cleanliness and waste management standards of Liverpool ONE.
7. Supervise and check compliance with daily tasks assigned to the team, paperwork and machinery, addressing issues and escalating accordingly.
8. Liaise with People Services Team when necessary to ensure the team have the correct knowledge, qualification, certification, training and tools to perform their job correctly and with the highest standards.
9. Delivery of compliant practices which meet all statutory requirements and codes of practice, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental requirements.
10. Ensure that all systems and processes as determined by the Environmental Services Manager are implemented and delivered by all team members.
11. Ensure that the members of the Environmental Services team are using the PPE issue, highlighting any issues and requesting PPEs for the members of the team when necessary.
12. Manage the Cleaning and Waste operative Teams holidays and absences, liaising with People Services team when necessary to ensure compliance and consistency.
13. Execute as well as be part audits and inspections whilst deploying the tasks necessary to keep the highest standards across cleanliness and waste management in Liverpool ONE.
14. Support on the delivery of all service and standards across the 24-hour shift pattern reporting to the Environmental Assistant Manager & Environmental Services Manager.
15. Deliver estate wide projects across all the environmental services teams ensuring consistency and the highest standards across all, aiming to provide the best customer experience.
16. Take ownership of own professional development, ensuring skills and knowledge are continuously improved in line with changing business requirements, and to enable the adoption of best practice within the Environmental Services and Operations team, whilst adhering to the vision, values, aims and objectives of Liverpool ONE.
17. To undertake and execute any other reasonable duties as requested by the Environmental Services Manager and the Environmental Assistant Manager.
