We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a one-year full time secondment on Ward 11.
Ward 11 is a 33 bedded vascular ward and includes a 4 bedded Nurse enhanced unit which is equipped to take level one patients.
We ask for a minimum of two years at band 5 and you must also be working to or have completed a leadership course.

Main duties of the job
Working closely alongside the Ward Sister and your Band 6 colleagues you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership, knowledge, and skills in all aspects of the running of this ward.We are seeking a motivated and resilient individual with a keen interest in patient experience and a positive and progressive outlook, to assist our team to provide excellent care for all vascular patients.
You will possess excellent communication skills and will need to be flexible to work in an acute environment whilst maintaining patient safety and seeking to provide a positive patient experience.
You must also be able to provide evidence that you possess or a working towards a teaching certificate.
Working with the Band 7, you will have further scope to develop your leadership and management skills in supporting and guiding junior staff.
This is a fully flexible role working days, nights, and weekends
