Join Our Team as a SEN Nursery Practitioner (Part-time).
What Your Role Involves
 * Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
 * Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
 * Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
 * Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
 * Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
 * Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ideally with previous SEN experience. Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Pay and Working Hours
Pay: £12.80 per hour. Working Hours: Part-time 28.5 hours over 3 days (Wed/Thu/Fri), 9.5 hours per day.

About Our Nursery
Little Green Rascals Minster Yard is a truly unique nursery. Our goal is to create a home-from-home environment with natural, locally sourced, and organic products whenever possible, ensuring no added nasties in food or skincare. We use natural and sustainable materials for toys and resources and source electricity from an ethical supplier. We are in the heart of York city centre with five rooms and a Forest School area, and we care for up to 125 children per day aged 0-4 years. We are conveniently located near York train station with good transport links. Perks include a birthday day off, Perkbox, and a veg box, among others.
