About Us
Milner Off Road Ltd is one of the UK's leading suppliers of 4x4 parts, proudly serving enthusiasts, workshops, and businesses for over 40 years. With thousands of products in stock and a trusted e-commerce platform, we've built a reputation for reliability, expertise, and excellent service. As we continue to grow, we are driving forward exciting new projects, involving brand and website development, along with the ambitious launch of a sister business with significant growth potential.
The Role
We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Executive to join our team full-time. This role is perfect for someone with a couple of years' marketing experience who is ready to take ownership of projects, while still learning and developing under the guidance of senior colleagues. You'll have hands-on responsibility across digital channels, campaigns, and content creation, while also playing an important part in wider business initiatives.
This role also provides the opportunity to contribute to improving and developing the back-end systems that power our website and ordering processes, with the aims of increasing efficiency and driving revenue.
Key Responsibilities
● Manage and update product catalogue content, ensuring listings, descriptions, and imagery are accurate and engaging.
● Plan, create, and deliver content for website promotions, campaigns, and seasonal activity.
● Take ownership of day-to-day social media management – creating content, scheduling posts, and reporting on performance.
● Plan and execute email marketing campaigns to engage new and existing customers.
● Support and contribute to the Milner Off Road Ltd branding and new website development.
● Assist in marketing campaigns to grow the sister business towards seven-figure turnover.
● Work with third-party partners and agencies managing SEO, PPC, and social media, ensuring campaigns align with business goals.
● Contribute to the improvement of back-end systems (website, POS, telephone ordering), supporting supplier selection and implementation.
● Suggest and implement ideas to improve website conversion rates and overall user experience.
● Provide support for offline marketing activities such as print, PR, and packaging materials.
What We're Looking For
● 2–4 years of experience in a marketing role (agency or in-house), ideally with exposure to e-commerce.
● Solid understanding of digital marketing channels (social, email, content, paid media).
● Experience with content management systems (CMS) and updating online catalogues.
● Strong writing and communication skills, with an eye for detail.
● Creative thinker with the ability to generate campaign ideas and see them through to execution.
● Organised, proactive, and able to work independently on projects.
● Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
● An interest in technology and systems that drive efficiency and sales.
● Automotive/4x4 interest is a plus, but not required.
● We would be prepared to consider an apprenticeship role for the right candidate.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a capable marketer to step up into a more autonomous role, gaining exposure to high-impact projects, while helping to grow an exciting new sister business and contributing to the development of back-end systems.
