Responsibilities: Assist in deploying, managing, and monitoring Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking. Support Azure security configurations, compliance, and best practices. Learn to automate cloud operations using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform and Python. Help troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues. Work with Entra ID for identity and access management. Assist in implementing backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring solutions. Participate in cloud migration projects and infrastructure optimizations. Collaborate with senior cloud engineers to learn industry best practices. Document processes and solutions to support future implementations. Desirable Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud is a plus). Understanding of networking, virtualization, and operating systems (Windows/Linux). Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. A keen interest in cloud computing and IT infrastructure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Entry requirements: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above) Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
