Your new role This newly created role will see you take full responsibility for improving quality standards across the business while also managing stock control processes on the factory floor. You'll be training and mentoring a small team to adopt a quality-first mindset, identifying issues, and implementing practical solutions to improve systems and processes. Alongside this, you'll oversee inventory control, ensuring scanning systems are used effectively and stock movements are accurately tracked. The role requires someone who can quickly learn internal systems, take initiative, and drive change. You'll be expected to work independently and take full ownership of both areas. This position is based on a four-day working week, Monday to Thursday, offering a great work-life balance while maintaining full-time hours. What you'll need to succeed You'll need experience in a manufacturing or production setting, with a strong understanding of quality principles and inventory control. You should be confident in identifying and resolving operational issues, training others, and improving processes. A hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to take ownership of your work are essential. Experience with scanning systems or ERP tools would be beneficial, but training will be provided.
