Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of a globally recognised engineering and manufacturing business in Sheffield to appoint a Head of Projects to lead major capital investment programmes across their operation.
This is a high-profile role, sitting as part of the senior leadership team and responsible for delivering complex, business-critical projects across heavy engineering and manufacturing environments.
The client will consider both permanent and interim/consultant applicants, depending on experience and availability.
You’ll take full accountability for planning, execution, and delivery of a multi-year capex pipeline, leading a team of project managers and engineers to ensure safety, quality, and commercial targets are met.
Lead the delivery of large-scale capital projects (£10m+), from concept through to completion
Develop and maintain robust project plans, budgets, and risk registers
Provide leadership and oversight to the internal project team and supply chain
Ensure projects meet all HSE, quality, and regulatory standards
Drive continuous improvement in project governance and execution
Report regularly on progress, risks, and performance to the board
Proven experience delivering high-value capital projects in heavy engineering or manufacturing
Formal project management qualifications (e.g. Prince2, APM, PMP)
A commercial and strategic mindset, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments
