Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has opened within the Supply Chain Operations organisation for a Technical Incoming Inspector based in Belfast.
This role is responsible for ensuring that incoming products and components meet required quality standards, design specifications, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high standards of inspection, quality control, and assurance within the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out inspection, quality control, and quality assurance activities.
* Ensure product compliance with design specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
* Provide technical guidance and advice to operators when required.
* Monitor and support the Delegated Operator Scheme.
* Work flexibly and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
* Produce technical reports identifying drawing, process, or tooling anomalies to support investigation and corrective actions.
Skills & Experience
Essential
* Completion of a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship.
* Minimum 2 years’ relevant post-apprenticeship experience within:
* Electrical aerospace environment, or
* Manufacturing, assembly, or tooling environment.
* Strong understanding of quality control requirements.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
* Effective communication skills.
* Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly practices, requirements, and standards.
Desirable
* ONC, A-levels, or equivalent qualification.
* Knowledge or experience of 3D metrology.
