Driver Labourer
Location: EH11 4HD
Hours of Work: Monday Friday 36 hours per week
Pay Rate: £14.51 per hour

The Driver Labourer will work alongside skilled mechanics, maintaining high standards across the workshop and welfare areas, and preparing vehicles and equipment for maintenance and MOT testing.
* Keeping workshop, depot and welfare facilities clean, safe and well-organised
* Steam cleaning vehicles and specialist plant to approved standards
* Supporting mechanics with basic servicing tasks such as lubrication, greasing, oil and filter changes
* Collecting and delivering vehicles, parts and consumables to minimise vehicle downtime
* Presenting vehicles (including LGVs/HGVs) for MOT testing
* Driving vehicles to identify and report faults
* Assisting with manual handling and removal of vehicle components
* Working both indoors and outdoors in a busy, professional workshop environment
Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* A reliable and positive team player with a practical mindset
* Comfortable with physical work and working in all weather conditions
* An interest in vehicles or mechanical work (experience helpful but not essential)
