General Manager

New Pines Holiday Home Park

Darwin Escapes is looking for an experienced, commercially driven, and inspiring General Manager to lead the team at New Pines Holiday Home Park.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong operational leader with proven commercial awareness and site management experience to take full responsibility for a busy and diverse holiday resort. The successful candidate will be passionate about driving operational excellence, commercial performance, and creating an environment where both guests and teams thrive.

About New Pines Holiday Home Park

Situated near the stunning North Wales coastline, New Pines Holiday Home Park offers a welcoming and family-friendly environment for holiday guests and owners alike. With excellent facilities and a strong community atmosphere, New Pines is a fantastic place to work as part of a supportive and dedicated team.



Working Hours

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week across variable days, including weekends, bank holidays, and busy seasonal periods in line with business needs.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

· Leading the day-to-day operations across all park departments

· Driving operational excellence and ensuring high standards across the resort

· Conducting regular park walks, inspections, and operational audits

· Ensuring presentation, service, safety, and compliance standards are maintained across the park

· Managing customer feedback and ensuring an exceptional guest and owner experience

Commercial Performance & Sales

· Driving commercial performance and supporting revenue growth initiatives

· Working closely with the Sales team to enhance the customer journey and maximise revenue opportunities

· Supporting holiday home sales activity and wider business objectives

· Managing budgets, monitoring expenditure, and ensuring financial targets are achieved



People Leadership

· Leading, developing, and motivating departmental teams across the resort

· Creating a positive, high-performing, and customer-focused culture

· Supporting team development, performance management, and succession planning

· Encouraging strong communication and collaboration across departments



What We’re Looking For

· Previous experience in a General Manager or senior leadership role within hospitality, leisure, holiday parks, or a similar customer-focused environment

· Strong commercial awareness with a proven understanding of operational performance and sales

· Proven site or multi-department management experience

· Experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational targets

· Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

· A hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused approach

· A full driving licence is desirable due to the nature of the role

· Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom
