Who are we looking for?
An opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join the Ashby site on the evenings shift. You will carry out duties involved in production assembly processes and labeling of intermediate and finished goods.
What will you be doing?
* Follow instructions from Shift Manager/Production Supervisors on job allocation and equipment use to meet production schedules.
* Ensure work complies with process instructions and quality standards.
* Work safely and cost-effectively, adhering to ISO standards.
* Undergoregular training on production operations and health & safety.
* Follow health and safety regulations and policies.
* Report accidents or injuries promptly and ensure first aid is provided.
* Maintain good housekeeping in production areas.
* Identify and suggest improvements in manufacturing processes.
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Who are You?
Experience in manufacturing or packing environments is desirable, but full training will be provided.
What competencies will you need?
* Organized and detail-oriented
* Ability to work independently
* Team player
* Numerate
* Ability to understand written instructions
Working Hours and Pattern
37.5 hours/week, Monday to Thursday 4:15 pm to 12:15 am with a 30-minute break, and Friday 12 noon to 8:00 pm with a half-hour break.
