Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housing Support Team Lead to oversee and coordinate housing assistance and support services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of housing management systems, and excellent verbal and written skills. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within our community by ensuring effective support and resource allocation for individuals in need of housing assistance. The successful applicant will be responsible for guiding a team, managing tenant relationships, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
Duties
* Lead and supervise the housing support team to deliver high-quality services.
* Coordinate housing applications, renewals, and case management activities efficiently.
* Utilise Google drive to maintain accurate records of tenant data, tenancy details, and support evidence records.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and tenant satisfaction.
* Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Monitor team performance through regular reviews and feedback sessions.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to housing support.
* Foster positive relationships with external stakeholders including social services, local authorities and community organisations.
Experience
* Proven experience in housing support or property management roles, with a strong understanding of tenancy laws and regulations.
* Experience using property management software is highly desirable.
* Previous leadership or supervisory experience is essential, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
* Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to diverse audiences.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
