Location: Any of Birmingham / Manchester / Leeds / Reading / London - Hybrid
Salary: £58,000 – £65,000 + benefits (Flexible) (London up to £70,000)
A leading UK investment business is looking for a hands-on Business Systems Analyst to join its technology and operations function. This is a delivery-focused role where you’ll configure and enhance CRM platforms, design and deliver automation solutions, and produce clear reporting dashboards to support decision-making.
What you’ll be doing
* CRM configuration: Own and enhance the firm’s CRM (DealCloud preferred, but Dynamics/Salesforce/HubSpot experience also valued). Configure workflows, validations, approvals, and user management to make the system central to operations.
* Process automation: Map current processes with stakeholders and replace manual tasks with automated workflows using tools such as Power Automate or RPA.
* Reporting & data flows: Deliver reporting dashboards (Power BI or CRM-native), with clean data models and automated data flows between systems (APIs/Connectors, Boomi a plus).
* Process improvement: Translate requirements into practical solutions; document, test and deliver enhancements that drive measurable efficiency across investment and operations.
* Emerging tools: Explore and embed AI and productivity tools (e.g. Copilot/ChatGPT) to support adoption and efficiency.
* Governance: Ensure changes align to best practice in low/no-code security, change control and documentation.
What you’ll bring
* Hands-on experience configuring CRM systems (DealCloud, Dynamics, Salesforce, Power Platform or HubSpot).
* Experience with workflow automation (Power Automate, RPA or similar).
* Knowledge of reporting tools, ideally Power BI, and confidence in producing dashboards and basic data models.
* Familiarity with integrations/APIs (Boomi or similar an advantage).
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to map processes and deliver solutions end-to-end.
* Background in financial services, private equity or asset management is highly desirable.
