Sussex caravan centre is a family run, multi-award-winning caravan and motorhome dealership trading for over 35 years, based in Ashington, West Sussex. The company is a National Caravan Council (NCC) and AWS approved dealership and workshop selling new and used Motorhomes, Campervans & Caravans.
As a result of our success, we are looking to expand our workshop team and recruit a Service Technician to strengthen our busy workshop operation and growing business to meet the rising demand of our large customer database. Successful candidates can enjoy a rewarding long-term career.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Annual services and habitation checks to caravans and motorhomes.
· Pre delivery inspections of new and used caravans and motorhomes.
· Fitting of accessories including, solar panels, motor movers, bike racks, awnings, reverse cameras and tv aerials.
· Warranty diagnosis and repairs.
· General fault finding and repairs to 12v, mains 230v electrics, plumbing, heating and appliances.
Skills & experience we know will help Technician succeed in this role
· A good practical, multi skilled background with experience in the motor trade, engineering, plumbing, carpentry, or electronics would be an ideal base.
· Talented individuals that have good experience in a range of DIY projects.
· Superb attention to detail.
· A tidy & organised mentality.
· Must be physically fit.
· Have a positive attitude and approach to life and able to work as part of our friendly team.
· Experience using your own initiative and problem solving using creative solutions.
· Pro-active, highly motivated, driven individual, who takes immense pride in their work and the ability to use their own initiative.
· Experience working within or current qualifications within the caravan and motorhome industry would be a strong asset.

The role:
This is a full time, permanent position, with a 5-day week working Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays on rolling rota.
