Senior 3rd Line IT Support Engineer – London (EC) – £50,000 - Hybrid Working I’m supporting a fast-growing Managed Service Provider in the creative sector as they look to hire an experienced Solutions Engineer to join their team. This is a senior, hands-on role focused on complex infrastructure, 3rd-line support, and leading technical project delivery. The Role As a key technical figure, you’ll handle high-level escalations, deliver infrastructure and cloud projects (Azure), and work closely with clients to design and implement robust IT solutions. You’ll also mentor junior engineers and ensure best practice across the team. Key Responsibilities Lead 3rd-line support across servers, networking, virtualisation, cloud and security Deliver end-to-end projects: server migrations, Azure deployments, network upgrades Act as a technical point of contact for clients Mentor and support junior engineers Oversee security solutions and ensure compliance Produce clear documentation and client reports Technical Requirements Strong expertise in Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPOs Solid experience with VMware/Hyper-V and Microsoft Azure Backup & DR knowledge (e.g., Veeam, Acronis, Cove) Strong networking: VLANs, VPNs, firewalls (Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto, Watchguard) Storage experience (Dell, Synology) Endpoint security technologies (Defender, Sophos) Proven background delivering complex IT projects Package & Benefits 40-hour week, Mon–Fri WFH Fridays additional remote days 22 days holiday BH (rising to 25) Regular company socials, awards and referral bonuses Ongoing training & development If you’re an experienced Senior/3rd-Line/Solutions/Infrastructure Engineer looking for your next step, get in touch for more details.
