A little more about your role…
As an Associate / Associate Director, you will provide technical leadership to our design and assessment teams, using your knowledge and skills to deliver quality work on time and within budget. You will lead design teams, mentor junior members, and support project delivery.
Responsibilities include:
* Technical leadership of bridge/civil engineering design and assessment projects in the UK and overseas
* Conducting project reviews to optimize solutions and coordinate multidisciplinary inputs
* Managing resources and developing relationships with other teams
* Agreeing fees and managing the commercial aspects of projects
* Leading a culture of technical review and challenge
* Developing client relationships and leading tenders/bids
* Supervising and mentoring junior team members

Candidate Profile
We seek a Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer with experience in:
* Bridge design, maintenance, and assessment from construction sites and design offices
* Project management of bridge projects
* Design, maintenance, and supervision of bridge and civil structures, including innovation in design and management
* Knowledge of DMRB and MCDHW standards
* Application of Eurocodes to bridge design
* Design or assessment of steel, reinforced, and prestressed concrete bridges
* Experience with analysis software like LUSAS, Superstress, and SAM
* Strong communication and client handling skills, with adaptability and teamwork orientation
