Job Title: BIM Specialist
HGA's Healthcare (HC) practice is seeking a BIM Specialist to join our team in one of our California offices. This position provides Revit model support to architects, planners, and designers actively using Revit for project delivery.
The individual will take ownership of Revit model setup and management on active projects, primarily working on HC projects in California, with occasional support across other HGA departments. Training and support from the national HGA Digital Practice Group (DPG) will be provided to incorporate standards and workflows.
This role involves ongoing user support, troubleshooting, content development, and promoting BIM standards throughout our practice. The BIM Specialist will also collaborate with DPG's Strategic Projects team to implement digital workflows and client-specific BIM requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setup Revit models using HGA BIM standards.
* Manage Revit model health and troubleshoot issues.
* Assist with BIM coordination and quality assurance.
* Ensure adherence to BIM execution plans and standards.
* Coordinate workflows and communicate with project teams and discipline leads.
* Attend coordination meetings and represent the team in Revit discussions.
* Manage content creation requests and maintain information continuity across applications.
* Configure and customize design applications and support staff training.
* Perform Revit model setup, maintenance, coordination, and closeout tasks, including linking discipline models, managing warnings, auditing files, and ensuring compliance with LOD standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Associate degree with 2-5 years of experience on architectural projects in Revit.
* Knowledge of construction types, strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office, Sketchup, Rhino, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite.
* Understanding of project workflows from design to construction.
* Revit certification preferred but not required.
This position is not intended for candidates with a professional architecture degree.
Salary Range:
$26.16 - $41.63/hour, based on experience, education, and skills. Benefits include bonuses, 401(k), parental leave, insurance, PTO, and disability programs.
