About the Commercial Finance Analyst Job In this Commercial Finance Analyst job, youll work closely with Finance, Commercial and Operations to bring clarity to business data and help shape strategy. Youll be responsible for analysing complex datasets, building reports and dashboards, and providing actionable insights to senior stakeholders. Its a role that offers both variety and impact, one day you could be building financial models to test different scenarios, the next you might be digging into pricing, profitability or operational performance to spot opportunities for improvement. Youll play a big part in developing how the business reports and uses data, supporting system changes and helping to drive process improvements. The Requirements Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivots, data cleansing and modelling). Experience with reporting and dashboards (e.g. Power BI). Background in finance, commercial analysis or a data-driven role. Comfortable working with large, complex datasets. Exposure to systems projects or ERP implementation (desirable). Analytical, detail-focused and proactive in finding solutions. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain insights to non-technical stakeholders.
