This role involves teaching Maths at GCSE level, working closely with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will be delivering tailored Maths support through a combination of 1:1 sessions and small group teaching (up to 6 students), helping learners build confidence, resilience, and achieve academic progress. As a Maths SEN Teacher, you will: * Plan and deliver engaging GCSE Maths lessons adapted to SEN and SEMH needs * Work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups (up to 6) * Assess, track, and monitor student progress * Provide clear, constructive feedback * Create a calm, supportive, and inclusive learning environment * Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing To be successful in this role, you will have: * Experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level * Experience working with students with SEMH needs or within an SEN setting * A patient, positive, and resilient approach to teaching * Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Commitment to ongoing professional development Your Maths expertise will play a key role in supporting students to achieve their GCSE goals within a structured and nurturing SEN environment.
