Background & Context
Iris London are home to a Performance Marketing department, with over 20 clients with a focus on Performance channels. A number of these, including large clients like Samsung & Beiersdorf, have an SEO scope, of which copywriting is a significant part.
Job Description
We are looking for a Content Writer to support the team in writing compelling, optimised SEO content that drives traffic and boosts search rankings. They will be responsible for producing high-quality long form copy that aligns with SEO best practices while maintaining a compelling and brand-appropriate tone.
Key Responsibilities
* Write and optimize content for SEO, targeting relevant keywords and improving organic search performance.
* Collaborate with Iris London Performance team to develop content strategies that align with business goals.
* Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to inform content creation.
* Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and SEO effectiveness.
Requirements
* Fluent in English
* 2-4 years of content/copywriting experience.
* Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
* An interest or background with skincare brands
* Nice to have an understanding of SEO principles and keyword optimisation.
* Nice to have familiarity with SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
Example Scope
Our biggest SEO client is Beiersdorf, and we are responsible for writing their SEO advice content in Europe & North America. Content will be briefed from the Iris London team but the SEO Copywriter will write the piece in full.
The expected scope for Beiersdorf is around 50-60 pieces yearly.
