You’ll help maintain product quality, run equipment, perform quality checks, and complete routine machine maintenance, contributing directly to our manufacturing success.**Please note:** The successful candidate will be required to work permanent night shifts. Full time/shift, 37 hours/week, Monday to Thursday 22:00 – 06:00 and Friday 21:00 - 04:30.A 50% shift premium will be applied on top of your basic salary for all hours worked under this shift pattern.**Key Responsibilities*** Operating Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machines - Set up all necessary equipment, which includes machine adjustments and ability to perform set-up (feeder loading and changing) carrying out necessary checks before operating the SMT machinery* Perform rework on Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assemblies.* Conduct regular quality checks and basic machine maintenance.* Support improvement activities and maintain accurate stock levels.* Work collaboratively to enhance manufacturing processes and minimise delays.**Experience, Skills & Qualifications*** Basic electronics knowledge (e.g., component recognition, hand soldering).* Comfortable working with PCBs and bespoke software.* High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures/drawings.* Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills.* Excellent communication and a flexible, proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.At Megger, our mission is simple yet powerful: to help people live confidently and work safely by harnessing the energy that powers our world.
