Role Details
Location: Brixworth, Northampton
Hours: Permanent, full-time (45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 15:30)

Your Responsibilities
As a Drainage Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and operational highway drainage system. Your daily tasks will include:
* Driving and operating a gully truck for scheduled and reactive drainage maintenance.
* Cleaning and maintaining highway drainage systems, including gully pots, ACO channels, culverts, and interceptors.
* Using high-pressure jetting equipment to clear blockages and ensure free-flowing drainage.
* Recording completed works using handheld devices.
* Supporting emergency response operations during adverse weather or flooding events.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You have experience operating high-pressure jetting equipment or similar vehicles.
* You’re comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
* You can communicate effectively with your team and the public while following safety procedures.
* You hold a UK Driving Licence and a Class 2 HGV licence.
