Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading specialist in the Built Environment. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of high-profile infrastructure and regeneration development projects for major clients. This role will be hybrid.
Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will be part of a dedicated professional services team delivering specialist land solutions projects. This role offers the chance to work with prestigious clients on significant business process and infrastructure development projects across the UK.
Within an established project management framework, your responsibilities will include:
1. Taking full responsibility for project delivery using best practice project management procedures.
2. Developing and agreeing on detailed project execution plans with the Programme Manager.
3. Monitoring, controlling, and reporting on project progress, performance, and financial success.
4. Directing and motivating project teams to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
5. Managing resource allocation to ensure team members are suitably skilled and equipped.
6. Liaising regularly with the Project Board to ensure overall project direction and integrity.
7. Managing client relationships throughout the project lifecycle to protect and enhance the company's reputation.
8. Ensuring all projects adhere to the highest levels of quality and compliance.
Qualifications and experience required:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant to the business.
2. Minimum of 2 years' experience in project management with proven ability to motivate and lead teams effectively.
3. Strong budget monitoring and control skills.
4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Confidence in managing challenging client situations to achieve positive outcomes.
6. A right-first-time approach with a focus on maintaining high productivity and efficiency.
7. Experience in land management is desirable but not essential.
