(PART-TIME) ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
30 hours per week
Permanent Contract (with 6 months probation)
Hybrid working - Central London (14-16 Great Pulteney Street, W1F 9ND) (at least 2 days per week)/ working from home
Eagle Eye creates bespoke British drama made with the very best talents, both on and off screen, from around the world. We are a fast-growing company with a vibrant team that has many collective years of experience within the television industry, and are currently working with various television broadcasters, including ITV, Channel 4 and PBS. Eagle Eye is part of the ITV Studios family.
We are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to work as part of our small core team. In this role, you would support multiple television series productions, including Professor T, Patience and Bookish. You would be reporting to the Production Accounts Manager (who primarily works remotely) as well as liaising with the Accounts Assistant in the Eagle Eye Drama corporate team. Responsibilities include:
1. Processing invoices and expenses
2. Entering invoices to be paid on the BACS run
3. Managing purchase orders
4. Reconciling pre-paid cards and production floats
5. Undertaking bank reconciliations for multi-currency accounts
6. Updating weekly/monthly cast and crew payroll sheet
7. Posting payroll journals
8. Undertaking additional ad-hoc projects, tasks and duties of a similar responsibility level

9. Previous experience of working within an office environment
10. A strong attention to detail and level of accuracy
11. Strong data entry skills
12. Strong organisational skills
13. Strong communication skills
14. Good time management and prioritisation skills
15. An ability to work to strict deadlines
16. Basic IT skills including Excel
17. Experience of using Xero accounting software (or an equivalent)
18. Basic knowledge of VAT and its requirements
19. The ability to work both autonomously and part of a small team
Previous experience of calculating a cast and crew payroll would be an advantage, as is: experience of working within the television production industry, working with Team Engine software, working with Approval Max or a similar PO system and using Barclays.net.
