The Role
As an Enabling Support Worker, your role will be to provide support and encouragement, taking direction from both the person supported and the person-centred support plan.
You will be required to maintain accurate records in line with service requirements and may also need to administer personal care and medication.
There will be a requirement to cover sleep-in sessions, for which you will be paid an additional GBP 60 per sleep-in.
The home is a high-dependency residential care facility providing 24-hour nursing and personal care for adults with disabilities, most of whom are younger.
People at the home have a wide range of individual choices, enabled by active support from staff. The service takes a person-centred, flexible approach, recognizing that everyone's needs and aspirations are different and that all sorts of things contribute to a flourishing life.
