Practice Nurse - Sunnybank Health Centre
We are excited to offer the opportunity for a practice nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Sunnybank Health Centre.
You will deliver treatment room clinics and provide health screening, assessments, health education and advice, wound management, cytology examinations, contraception, baby and adult immunisation, travel vaccinations.
We are open to training candidates with no prior general practice nursing experience, but ideally you will have such experience.
There will be opportunities for development within the role and a flexible, forward‑thinking practice team passionate about proactive patient care.
Main duties of the job
* Deliver evidence‑based nursing services within scope to patients.
* Run treatment room clinics.
* Provide health screening, assessments, education and advice.
* Wound management, cytology examinations, contraception, baby and adult immunisation, travel vaccinations.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.

Experience
* Working within a nursing team.
* Experience in primary care.
Qualifications
* Evidence of continued professional development.
