Role Description
The 3-Month Off-Cycle Intern role is a full-time hybrid position based in Southend-On-Sea, with the flexibility to work remotely for part of each week.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research: Identifying emerging trends in global horticulture and spotting new opportunities for our biostimulant range.
Technical Writing: Researching and writing insightful articles on horticulture, case studies, product trials and the impact of climate change on modern farming.
Client Engagement: Visiting client sites, with a heavy focus on the UK's thriving vineyard sector, to monitor product efficacy and support growers.
Logistics Coordination: Assisting with the management of national and international shipping and supply chain operations.
Trade Shows & Travel: Potential opportunities to represent CropAid at national and international trade shows or join the team for international client visits.
About You
We are looking for a curious, proactive student who is passionate about the future of farming.
Currently pursuing a degree related to Geography, Crop Science, Horticulture, or Agriculture. However, we are open to students from any degree discipline who can demonstrate a strong interest in our industry, excellent writing skills, and a "can-do" attitude.
Skills: Strong research capabilities, professional communication skills, and an interest in international business/logistics and sustainability.
We understand you are a student We intend to pay an hourly rate based on the hours you can commit to each week, up to a total monthly compensation of £1,000 plus food and travel expenses. This allows for a flexible schedule that works around your studies.
