We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning practice based near Godalming who are looking to recruit an Investment Administrator to join their team.
They are looking to recruit a competent and motivated administrator to join their investment hub. Candidate will report into the Client Investment Oversight Function. The candidate will be responsible for executing all trades for our clients and compiling essential audit trail and processing notes with that in mind the candidate will need a background in investment. In addition to that there will be some administration work for Investment Management Committee (IMC).
Driving the investment switching process and follow up administration to include;
1. Following up non-responses from regular client and new money investment reviews;
2. Checking regular contributions are linked to template reports;
3. Checking phased buys are up to date with model portfolios;
4. Checking clients with regular withdrawals have sufficient cash to meet their requests;
5. Executing process from client requesting withdrawal, including client verification through to the client receiving their money;
6. Reviewing and checking investment switch data;
7. Submitting investment switch data to platform provider using peer review wherever possible;
8. Ensuring full audit trail and process notes are complete for each transaction to client plans/wrappers.
9. Reconciling contract notes within the recommended 2 week window;
10. Handling customer enquiries.
11. Keeping the Client Investment Oversight officer fully appraised at all times of progress and trends.
To provide support to the Client Investment Oversight function focussed in the following areas;
12. Amending Templates for Transact & Nucleus - To ensure that amendments and outcomes from the IMC are input into the existing templates to ensure only our Centralised Investment Proposition (CIP) is reflected.
13. Amending Fastrak Model Portfolios - Similar methodology to keeping the templates at Transact and Nucleus correct inside the Fastrak programme.
14. Risk Matrix - Ensuring the IMC output is reflected correctly in the risk matrix
15. Fund Risk Sheets - Using our in house risk modelling tool keeping our fund risk sheets up to date.
16. Mailouts to Clients - Facilitating the roll out of bulk mailings. An example would be towards the end of the tax year contacting those clients who have not fully utilised their allowances.
17. Weekly Fund Reports - Reporting into the Client Investment Manager officer with weekly statistics to be used to monitor trends.
18. Targeted/Structured Fund Research - Under guidance from the Client Investment Manager conduct structured fund research.
