Commercial Property Solicitor / Legal Executive (14 PQE)

We are instructed by a well-established, forward-thinking regional law firm to recruit a Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a busy and collaborative Commercial Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer in the early to mid-stages of qualification to gain exposure to a broad range of commercial property matters, working closely with experienced partners and colleagues in a supportive, high-quality practice.
The role offers a mix of independent responsibility and structured supervision, alongside genuine opportunities for development, profile-building, and longer-term progression.
The Role
You will handle a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including:
* Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
* Drafting and negotiating commercial leases and ancillary documents
* Lease renewals and portfolio management for landlords and occupiers
* Property management matters such as licences to assign, underlet, and alter
* Secured lending transactions
* Supporting wider transactional work and collaborating with corporate and real estate colleagues
You will be encouraged to take an active role in business development, relationship-building, and contributing to the growth of the team.
About You
* 14 years PQE (or equivalent) in commercial property
* Experience handling freehold and leasehold transactions
* Strong drafting and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision
* Proactive, organised, and commercially aware
* Comfortable working under pressure and managing competing priorities
* Collaborative approach with strong interpersonal skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* High attention to detail and strong academic background
* Confident IT user, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
