We're on the lookout for a Production and Process Engineer to join our growing Technical Product team. You'll be the bridge between Design and Production, helping us bring products to life efficiently and consistently.
This is a great opportunity to get stuck into a fast paced manufacturing environment where your ideas and expertise will make a real impact.
What you'll be doing:
* Be the go to link between Production and Engineering, solving issues, sharing updates, and keeping things moving.
* Join design reviews to make sure products are ready for production and built to last.
* Approve detailed designs for manufacturing.
* Create and maintain process docs like SOPs and work instructions.
* Work closely with Quality, Design, Systems Engineering and Production teams.
* Drive improvements in production speed, quality and consistency.
* Investigate production issues, find the root cause, and help prevent them happening again.
Essential skills and experience:
* Solid experience in a Production or Process Engineering role within manufacturing.
* Confident managing BOMs and using MRP tools (we use 123).
* Skilled in implementing production processes and solving problems with RCA.
Desirable skills and experience:
* Experience in maritime, automotive or aerospace sectors.
* Familiar with cell manufacturing.
* Six Sigma green belt or Lean Manufacturing certification.
* 3D CAD skills.
* Experience with digital workshop management tools.
