Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation operating within a complex, project-driven environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial professional to step into a leadership role, managing high-value contracts and supporting the successful delivery of critical programmes.
The Role
As Commercial Contracts Manager, you will lead and support a team of Commercial/Contracts professionals while playing a key role in the negotiation, management, and delivery of complex contractual agreements. You will act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, ensuring commercial risks are effectively managed and opportunities maximised.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and support a team of Commercial professionals
* Develop and execute negotiation strategies for high-value contracts
* Draft, review, and negotiate terms and conditions
* Provide commercial guidance across the full contract lifecycle (bid to delivery)
* Interpret customer requirements and align them with business objectives
* Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
* Oversee contract performance and ensure obligations are met
* Manage contract changes and ensure financial commitments are achieved
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management, finance, and engineering
About You
* Proven experience in a Commercial or Contracts Management role
* Experience managing or mentoring team members
* Strong background in negotiating complex contracts
* Ability to manage risk and provide sound commercial judgement
* Experience working within regulated, engineering, manufacturing, defence, or similarly complex environments is desirable
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
