Job Title: HVAC Project Manager
Location: Peterborough (projects across the East of England / UK as required)
Salary: £60k + package
The Role:
*
Lead and manage multiple HVAC projects from inception to completion
*
Plan, coordinate, and oversee on-site delivery, installation, and commissioning
*
Liaise with clients, architects, surveyors, and project teams
*
Manage Trainee/Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and subcontractors
*
Procure materials, plant, and specialist services to programme and budget
*
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards
*
Monitor and report on progress, valuations, variations, and profitability
*
Oversee commissioning activities and maintain as-fitted records
*
Approve purchase invoices, timesheets, and manage team workflow
*
Promote continuous improvement and high standards of customer care
*
Support professional development of team members
*
Be available for occasional out-of-hours work and travel
The Ideal Candidate:
*
Level 2 NVQ in Heating and Ventilating
*
Qualifications in F-Gas, Refrigeration, Mechanical, and Ductwork systems
*
Proven experience managing HVAC or mechanical building services projects
*
Knowledge of British Standards (BS EN) and CIBSE Guides
*
Commercial and contractual awareness (JCT/NEC contracts)
*
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
*
Up-to-date Health & Safety knowledge and compliance
*
Proficient with project management software (Word, Excel, Project)r
