We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience), and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discounts.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
Adopt an agile approach to strategy and planning, with adjusting operational plans to evolving customer needs while delivering commercial benefits
* Initiate and deliver continuous improvement initiatives, with a solid understanding of key CI methodologies and best practices
* Builds effective engagement plans to strengthen relationships with key customer and colleague stakeholders
* Lead and develop the Warehouse Management Team, ensuring effective allocation of work and maintaining strong motivation, skills, and capability across the operation
* Create an environment where colleagues can perform at their best, contributing to overall operational success and productivity
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven warehouse leadership within a customer‑focused operation, with a strong record of delivering innovative performance improvements and operational excellence
* Passionate for team engagement, coaching and development
* Strong understanding of the full contract life cycle and desirable experience within support services or 3PL business model
Ability to use IT systems and technology effectively to drive operational performance
