We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic social care staff to join us as a Review Officer working within a countywide service overseeing the annual reviews of adults across our locality. We have a temporary part time 18.5 hour post to cover maternity for 7 months or return of postholder. WHAT IS INVOLVED? This is an exciting opportunity to join a team shaping a person-centred, modernised approach to how we work with people to review their social care needs using strengths-based approaches and digital communication tools. Working alongside social workers and with our internal and external partners, you'll have a pivotal role in ensuring adults with social care needs in County Durham have maximum choice and control over their services, that they are fully engaged in annual reviews of their services, and that they have opportunities to regain or maintain as much independence as possible. Your normal place of work will be in an approved location, but you may be required to work at any Council workplace within County Durham. WHAT WILL I NEED? Qualifications: 5 GCSEs including English Language (9-4/A-C grades) or equivalent relevant qualification Access to a car or access to a means of mobility support (if driving must have current valid driving licence and appropriate insurance). Please refer to the attached person specification for the full criteria. If successful, you will be required to apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
