Overview

You will be based at our head office WN3 6PR; you will need to be confident in what you need to do.

The office will require cleaning of 3 floors, 3 kitchens & 6 toilets, offices, corridors, stairs and reception area. We invest in the best equipment for our teams — and you will be fully trained on the use of these in your initial training.

You will also empty bins, and top up consumables such as soap dispensers, toilet rolls, etc. We require the highest levels of cleanliness, and a confident communicator. Cleaning schedules will be provided and must be signed at the end of each session.


Main duties of the job

These will be provided at interview, including cleaning schedules for clinical and non-clinical areas.

The hours required are 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday, and these must be completed between the hours of 9am – 5pm. The required daily 2 hours will be confirmed at interview.


About us

Wigan GP Alliance is a well-established Primary Care provider within the Borough of Wigan and Leigh, established in 2015 to respond to the Prime Ministers Challenge Fund. The Alliance has grown to deliver its core services and extended its delivery to provide many more services and additional support for the whole Borough, reacting when required to in times of need.

We provide services across the whole Borough to a number of fixed locations.

Requirements

Experienced Cleaner

Proof of ID (passport, full birth certificate)

If you have a European Passport, you will be required to also bring your right to work Shared Code along with you

Proof of your NI Number

Proof of your address

Full driving licence

Health & Safety Purpose:

To take a direct interest in the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your work activities. Training will be provided on site as well as training on office safety & Health & Safety via ELearning.
