Job Description
*Conduct player research through surveys, interviews, community listening, and market analysis to deeply understand user motivations, unmet needs, and pain points.
*Collaborate closely with analysts and researchers to identify user needs and market opportunities in India. Provide strategic recommendations on product features and marketing campaigns, and develop frameworks and actionable insights that inform gameplay content, cosmetic offerings, metagame systems, and publishing initiatives.
*Drive product strategy to effectively meet the needs of our target audience, and lead cross-functional teams including R&D, publishing, and other key departments to successfully execute these strategies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful User Insights Manager should have:
3. A strong background in customer service or user research.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Familiarity with tools and methodologies used in the technology and telecoms sector.
6. The ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
7. A proactive approach to identifying and addressing user needs.
8. Strong communication and presentation skills.
9. A keen interest in the internet and its evolving trends.
10. 5+ years of experience in user research, business strategy, product management, or consulting within the gaming industry.
11. Proven experience supporting live-service or competitive titles.
12. Strong understanding of MOBA players' motivations and in-game behaviors.
13. Demonstrated experience in leveraging insights to shape marketing, segmentation, and publishing strategies.
14. Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a proactive and goal-driven mindset.
15. Proficiency in English and Hindi (or other major Indian languages); deep understanding of Indian gaming culture and user habits.
