Salary: £65,000 base + performance bonus (realistic £20,000-£30,000+ in Year 2) based on c.25 hours per week.
The Opportunity:
We’re partnering with a well-established and growing employment law practice that is continuing to scale its remote offering across the UK. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor (5+ PQE) to step into a flexible role - combining high-quality work, strong earning potential, and full autonomy over how you operate.
The firm offers multiple engagement models (employed or consultancy), making this an ideal move for someone looking to take greater ownership of their career without sacrificing the support and infrastructure of an established practice. You’ll work across a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious matters, advising both individuals and businesses.
The Role:
You’ll manage your own caseload end-to-end, with the freedom to shape how you deliver your work.
Key responsibilities include:
* Handling a varied employment law caseload from instruction through to resolution
* Advising on unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, redundancy, grievances, and settlement agreements
* Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, and handbooks
* Representing clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings (where required)
* Providing commercial, pragmatic advice to SME and corporate clients
* Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
* Contributing to the firm’s continued growth and reputation
This is a role with real autonomy - you’ll be trusted to run your practice, with support where needed.
About You:
You’ll be an experienced, self-sufficient solicitor who thrives in a flexible, remote environment.
We’re looking for:
* UK-qualified Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in employment law (private practice)
* Strong experience managing your own caseload independently
* Confidence advising claimant and/or respondent clients
* Comfortable working remotely with excellent organisation and self-management
* Commercial, pragmatic, and solutions-focused approach
* Interest in building relationships and contributing to business growth
