Job Overview
East Caithness Community Nursing Team is offering the opportunity for an experienced District Nurse or an individual with equivalent qualifications to hold a dynamic caseload of patients within a defined geographical area/neighbourhood.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of the team, providing leadership and supervision to registered and non‑registered staff.
* Hold responsibilities and accountability for assessments, caseload management and patient‑centred care planning.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified District Nurse with Specialist Practice Qualification.
* Advanced clinical assessment skills.
* Non‑medical prescriber (or equivalent).
Working Hours and Location
Day team operates between 09:00 and 17:00 over 7 days per week including Public Holidays. This is a permanent part‑time post of 18.5 hours per week to be worked in accordance with service requirements. The post will be based at the East Caithness Community Nursing Team, Wick Medical Centre.
