Assistant Site Manager at Barratt Redrow
We are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager in delivering high‑quality construction projects across the UK.
What you’ll be doing
Within the construction environment, you will manage the development of the site through to completion, ensuring programme, quality and cost targets are achieved in accordance with the build programme. You will coordinate trades, direct labour and materials, support the Sales Team, and deliver excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
* Support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme.
* Work in conjunction with the Sales Team to ensure regular Sales/Build meetings are attended and all procedures are adhered to.
* Accept responsibility for duties as the Site Manager may determine and deputise for the Site Manager when required.
* Support the Site Manager in ensuring the on‑site construction team is fully resourced and directed, providing communication, training and development.
* Deliver excellent customer service to customers in line with company guidelines.
Qualifications
* Experience working within established build programmes.
* Assertive delivery of targets by the on‑site team and trades/labour.
* Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
* Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders or NVQ in Construction Management, or a tradesman with experience of the full range of construction trades.
* In‑depth knowledge of construction trade and relevant legislative requirements (Health and Safety, NHBC, Building Regulations).
* Good knowledge of customer service.
