We’re working with a well-established manufacturing company looking for a Factory Operative to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
This is a hands-on, physical role in a fast-paced production environment. You'll be working with cast metal parts, using various tools and machinery to prepare products for the next stage of production.
Duties will include:
1. Fettling and grinding of metal castings using power tools
2. Manual handling – moving boxes and materials
3. Shot blasting (machine operation)
4. Etching parts using specialist hand tools
5. Operating a band saw when required
6. Cleaning and maintaining equipment and workspaces
7. Recording production data on a touchscreen system
8. Completing paperwork to track tasks completed
You will have:
9. Experience working within a manufacturing environment
10. A good level of physical fitness
11. Experience using hand tools
12. Access to your own transport due to location
13. A solid CV demonstrating reliability
