We are recruiting for A Multi Skilled Engineer Purpose of the job We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team on the Akzo Nobel site based in Stowmarket, Suffolk. This job will play a key role in supporting our client's site operations. CBRE are looking for an enthusiastic individual, with an electrical or mechanical background, who is keen to develop their skills working as part of a dynamic team. We will provide all the tools necessary for you to grow and develop your skills based on your job role and interests. Responsibilities and daily activities: - Understand and comply with all clients and CBRE QHSE policies and procedures. - Actively participate in Health, Safety, Environment, Sustainability and Quality leading on activities where required. - Support successful delivery and upkeep of contractor Logbooks to CBRE QHSE compliance requirements in readiness for regular audits. - Ensure the PPM's are carried out in a high calibre manner and on time, adhering to specific contract KPI/SLA's. - Complete any necessary paperwork timeously and comprehensively and feedback directly into the contract QHSE systems. - Involvement in small projects and extra work. - Receiving and reviewing quotes from sub-contractors. - Support the site to ensure it is compliant with mandatory safety requirements for all aspects of site facilities & utilities. - When required, carry out fault diagnosis and restoration of equipment. - Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs. - Keep up to date with relevant legalisation changes within the industry. - Creating Permit to Work Requests and taking control of Maintenance activities. - Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems. - Act as deputy in the absence of line management. Qualifications and Skills: · Good ICT skills - word processing, spreadsheets, and standard Microsoft Office systems. · Good planning and organisational skills · Ability to multi-task and manage workload effectively. · Takes responsibility for initiating and completing tasks, manages priorities and time to successfully meet deadlines. · Meet the physical requirements of this role including standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 20KG. or more · Mechanical or Electrical background. · Strong communicator with confident oral and written skill. · Strong organisational skills with an inquisitive mindset. · Knowledge and awareness of the facilities management industry.
