SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools, Watford
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Pay Rate: £90–£110 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediately

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Watford is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and helping them thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
The Role:
1. Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs
2. Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of differentiated learning activities
3. Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and emotional wellbeing
4. Helping to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
5. Adapting resources and strategies to meet individual pupil needs
The Ideal Candidate:
6. Experience supporting children with SEN (school, care, youth work or similar settings)
7. A patient, empathetic and proactive approach
8. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and pupils
9. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
