Avionic Fitter - Installations - Helicopters
Lupos Global has a requirement for an Avionics Fitter - Helicopters for our client based in Oxford. This is a contract role located at Oxford Airport, Oxfordshire, England, within the Avionics sector.
Responsibilities
* Maintain safety and airworthiness of helicopters within the Installations department while being customised and maintained.
* Carry out work for the Installation Supervisor or Certifying Engineer.
* Work to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
* Manufacture electrical looms and avionics systems in accordance with design data.
* Conduct off-aircraft work in workshops as required.
* Assist in day-to-day hangar operations, including aircraft movements and general housekeeping.
* Maintain a flexible working attitude to cope with changing priorities in the department.
* This is a certifying role reporting to the Installation and Production Manager.
* Ensure good H&S practices and appropriate PPE are used for each task.
* Remove and refit panels and cowlings on helicopters and equipment.
* Work closely with the design office.
* Carry out repairs to aircraft wiring looms and avionics systems.
Contract Details
* Start date: 29 September 2025
* Location: Oxford Airport, Oxfordshire
* Contract length: 3 months (likely to continue and be extended)
* Line/Base Maintenance
* Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 (40 hours per week)
* Rate: £21–£22 per hour
* IR35 status: Falls under IR35
Experience / Qualifications
* Completed a formal aviation apprenticeship or related discipline
* Experience working on Airbus Helicopters
* Right to work in the UK
* Driving license
