About the Position The Senior Business Change Analyst is responsible for supporting the design, development, communication, and delivery of transformation projects within RenRe’s Risk Selection & Analytics Domain. This role delivers results by leveraging experience in both project management and stakeholder engagement, translating complex change initiatives into achievable plans delivering measurable outcomes. Stakeholder Management • Working with individual stakeholders to understand requirements, shape solutions and facilitate the change. • Communicates clearly on their area of focus within the domain • Develop comprehensive slide decks and project management documents to effectively communicate strategic change initiatives, ensuring clarity and alignment across stakeholders. Organisational Skills • Scopes and runs initiatives within their area of the domain. • Develops and reviews change requests for completeness and accuracy. • Captures data for metrics or KPIs and reports on same. • Conducts project planning, tracking, and risk management. • Manages vendor engagement for specific initiatives. Analysis, Business Solution Design & Delivery • Understands customer’s needs, clearly articulates business problems and contributes to solution design • Monitors progress for alignment with business goals. • Conducts business analysis of processes and systems. • Balances functional and non-functional requirements. • Takes ownership of process mapping and documentation for target areas of the business. Innovation • Identifies valuable innovations by staying abreast of industry trends. • Supports the development and improvement of business change practices. Expected Competencies: A university degree with a technical/business focus preferred but not required. Additional (re)insurance and/or project management qualifications (i.e. ARe, CPCU, PMP) would be beneficial. • A minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience. • Strong communication skills with a history of cross-business unit or business unit/functional collaboration and knowledge-sharing across work teams. • Effective presentation skills with the ability to influence and gain buy-in for ideas/solutions. • Facilitates the flow of information, up, down and across organisation, and encourages the sharing of ideas/information within work teams and across business units or functions. • Establishes priorities and demonstrates an organised, disciplined approach to workload planning. • Sets high standards for self and others, and motivates, influences and engages others to deliver objectives and achieve results without relying upon direct authority. • Strong background in change management and a history of supporting the delivery of large and/or complex change projects. • Ability to adjust messaging depending on the audience and tailor message/approach to different individuals, groups and situations accordingly We believe that meeting these requirements will position you for success in the role.
