Job Title: SEN Support Worker (Immediate Start)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join an SEN school immediately. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to children with physical disabilities and complex needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and engagement throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist students with physical disabilities and complex needs in their daily activities.
* Support learning and development in line with individual care plans.
* Promote independence and inclusion within the school environment.
* Ensure safe moving and handling practices at all times.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other staff members.
Requirements
* Enhanced DBS (Child & Adult) on the Update Service – essential.
* Up-to-date Moving and Handling Certificate – essential.
* Previous experience in SEN or care settings preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
