About the School
The provision supports primary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, alongside additional learning needs such as SEN, ADHD, ADD, and other learning difficulties.
The school offers a nurturing and structured environment, with small class sizes and a strong focus on building positive relationships, emotional regulation, and confidence. Staff work closely together to create a safe, supportive space where pupils feel understood, valued, and encouraged to reach their potential.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils engage with learning, manage behaviour positively, and develop important life skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
* Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
* Helping pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour management
* Encouraging positive engagement with learning
* Supporting pupils to develop confidence, independence, and social skills
* Creating a safe and supportive learning environment

We are looking for individuals who are resilient, patient, and passionate about supporting young people. Experience working with children is beneficial, but we are also keen to hear from candidates with transferable skills.
